Living Area

This project required a bit more work because of the change in lay-out. The space was originally a bedroom. The owners wanted a more open area for the living and the dining spaces; and it made better sense to remove the non-structural wall of this bedroom in order to repurpose it as  the lounge. The carpet was removed, showing lovely wooden floors underneath that just needed a good sanding and finishing. They wanted "light and airy with pops of colour" so we've decided on this beautiful flower pattern wallpaper that complements the blueish grey wall paint perfectly. They already had the furniture so we just added the rug, curtains, cushions, and custom-made shelves and TV console. Along with the wallpaper, wooded shelves, decor, and plants bring elements of nature into this comfortable space.
